FCTS building project tops $2 million
The students returning in the fall of 2016 to Franklin County Technical School will have a bigsurprise – a brand new school! Well, almost. This spring and summer three major projectsare taking place to improve the quality and structure of the school building and grounds.Major repairs have been completed on the roof and this summer the windows and doors will be replaced and the entire parking lot and entrance will be repaved, according to Superintendent Richard Martin. Martin, who was also F.C.T.S Principal from 2009-2015, noted that the combined cost of these projects is major. Replacing the windows and doors will cost
